Abstract

A constructed rainwater garden, also known as The Pond, was built to investigate aquatic ecosystems as a strategic, ecological measure in a semi-controlled environment. Conceptualized as an artwork itself, The Pond also serves as an established toolkit to test emerging ideas and strategies. The paper introduces the rainwater garden as a tool and method for creating new artworks.
